Located convenient to downtown State College, PA and The Pennsylvania State University Main Campus Children’s House Montessori School offers preschool and elementary classes to children ages 3 through 9 as well as all-day care for working or studying families.

Children's House is a non-profit, professionally managed Montessori school licensed by both the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare and Education dedicated to offering the highest quality educational programs possible.  The classrooms at Children's House tend to be multicultural reflecting the diversity of the university setting it neighbors.

Nestled in a historic home convenient to downtown State College and The Penn State Campus, our building is both functional and warm.  Our unique facility enables children to feel comfortable and “at home” while at school. 

Flexible Hours

Children’s House Montessori operates year round, Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 5:30p.m.  These hours afford working or studying families with both before and after school educational programs.
