Children's House Philosophy & Mission Statement
Children’s House Montessori School is committed to educating students to be independent thinkers, resourceful problem solvers, good citizens, and life-long learners. Children’s House is dedicated to its Montessori philosophy and accelerated curriculum, which embraces interactive and self-directed learning, academic excellence, respect and appreciation for the environment, and the celebration of all peoples and cultures.
We are an private school, licensed by both the Department of Education & Department of Public Welfare, serving students age 2.5 through second grade. Children’s House welcomes children without regard to race, religion, color, or creed and seeks students of diverse talents, backgrounds, experiences, and cultures who will benefit from an environment that encourages social, academic, physical, and moral development.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality of educational instruction within the most natural and life supporting environment based upon Maria Montessori’s educational methodology and child development theory, to support the fulfillment of each child’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual potential.
